Position Words: on, under, next to

Where is it?

Position words tell us where something is.

The ball is on the box. ⬆️ The ball is under the box. ⬇️

Let's learn six position words. Say each word, then look at the picture.

Use them in sentences

Use a position word to say where:

The book is on the shelf. 📚

My shoes are under the bed. 👟

I sit next to my friend. 🧒

Grab a toy and a cup. Now try this!

• Put the toy behind the cup. 🙈
