Are you ready? Let's go! Hold my hand. Off we go to the field.

One Big Cow

Look! In the green field there is a cow.

She is big and brown. She is eating soft grass. Munch, munch, munch.

How many cows? Let's count. One!

The cow looks up and says, "Moo!" Moo to you too, cow!

Two Pink Pigs

Now we walk to the mud. Splash, splosh!

Here are the pigs. They are pink. They roll in the cool mud to keep happy.

How many pigs? Let's count. One, two. Two pigs!

The pigs say, "Oink, oink!" They are having so much fun.

Three Fluffy Sheep

Up the little hill we go. What do we see?

Sheep! They are soft and white and fluffy, like clouds on legs.

Let's count them. One, two, three. Three sheep!

The sheep say, "Baa, baa." They wave their little tails.

Four Brown Horses

Now we come to the big barn. Tall and strong, here are the horses.

They have long legs and soft noses. They like to run and run.

Let's count the horses. One, two, three, four. Four horses!

Can you say "neigh" like a horse? Neigh!

Five Yellow Ducks

Splash! Here is the pond. The water is cool and blue.

On the pond are the ducks. They swim round and round.

Let's count them. One, two, three, four, five. Five ducks!

"Quack, quack!" say the ducks. They dip their heads in the water.

Ten Little Chicks

Now we come to the last stop. Peep, peep, peep! Do you hear that?

It is the baby chicks! They are tiny and yellow and very soft. They run after their mother hen.

There are lots of chicks. Let's count them all together. Are you ready?

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten!

Ten little chicks! That is a lot of chicks. Well done for counting them all.

Goodnight, Farm

The sun is going down now. The sky is pink and orange.

We counted so many animals today. One cow. Two pigs. Three sheep. Four horses. Five ducks. And ten little chicks!

You are a very good counter. Thank you for walking around the farm with me.

Now the animals are sleepy. The cow lies down. The chicks close their eyes. "Goodnight," say the animals. Goodnight, farm. See you again soon!
